100% Australian Grown Hemp Seed (de-hulled) Meal, Flour and Protein

Hemp Seed is now grown in Australia. Tasmania is amongst the idealist places to grow it on the planet. Hemp is an incredibly sustainable crop and requires minimal to no artificial chemicals because growth is so quick, that it can suppress weeds naturally. It improves soil structure, and sequesters more carbon from the atmosphere per hectare than an established forest.
Once the seeds get harvested, we begin the cleaning and drying process within an hour of harvest. They are then ready to store, and the cold Tasmanian climate helps maintain the quality.
We then process the seeds into a range of products - hulled seeds, protein, and oil - all with a variety of potential uses.
The hulled seeds are over 30% protein, high in healthy fats with optimally balanced omega 3:6 ratio (1:3) for the human body to function, along with a range of vitamins and minerals. They have a light, nutty flavour, and are easy to incorporate into a range of foods. Serve on as an accompaniment in Salads, breakfast muesli, topping for yogurt, or as a stand alone baked good, like a nutritional bar, or in an an ultra-health-centric smoothie - the possibilities are endless.
Hemp protein comprises 65% of highly digestible edestin protein (globular protein), and 35% albumin protein.
Hemp oil has a concentrated form of the remarkably well-balanced omega profile of hemp seeds, and has anti-inflammatory properties, and is used topically as well as consumed for the benefits.
